Good news: two hamburgers a week to reduce emissions
We all know that in order to do a favor to the planet and do our part in reducing CO2 emission, we should all eat less meat. But exactly how much meat can we still eat? Well, according to this article by The Guardian, the right quantity should be two hamburgers a week. Or you know, an equivalent measure of any other meat. Bad news: climate change is impacting our health
According to a study made by 99 experts (including the WHO), climate change is impacting the health of people all around the world. In general, extreme weather conditions has put a lot of pressure on health services (like hospitals) that were already in critical conditions after the Covid-19 pandemic. As we read on the BBC, the main health risks of high temperatures are respiratory diseases that cause heart strokes and also damage mental health-wise.
The next major conference, COP27, will be in Egypt in November, and hopefully world leaders will also talk about this important issue.
