social battery

So, we stayed in quarantine for... a long time. A very long time, and even though it was less than a year it still felt like forever.

Now, here in Milan (which is in Italy, in case you didn't know), we're getting better.

Okay, I don't really know about how many covid cases we have daily, but, at least, our schools are open and I can finally see my friends. Or, at least, their eyes (cause, you know, masks).

These days I've been going out with them (always respecting the covid norms) and I've noticed something.

I'm an introvert, which means that I have a sort of "social battery", which I use when I go out and socialize. The problem is that it has a limited power and when it runs out, I need to be alone for a while, in order to recharge.
These days though, I don't feel it running out anymore!

Either I spent so much time alone in quarantine that I now have power that lasts for days on end, or I just... don't have a limited social battery anymore?

Did I just... become an extrovert?! (which is the opposite of an introvert by the way; they get their energy from socializing)

I honestly don't know, but, right now, it feels good.
