TV series grief
How to survive

So, you finished a tv series. Or, maybe, you are about to finish it.

Whatever it might be, I'm sure you're feeling sad.

Well, don't worry, 'cause I'm here to help you! Stay with me while I tell you what you need to do to "grieve" for your loss.

The first technique is going to hurt you in the long run, but you'll feel good for a while. It's the one I use the most. This works best when you're about to finish the tv series.

You should start a new tv series and watch some episodes, then continue the series you were watching and finish it. Right after you finish it you should watch the one you started right away.

This is how you numb the pain. It will get to you eventually and you'll maybe cry yourself to sleep, but, hey!, it works.
The second tip works especially when the tv series was very long and the fact that it's ending devastates you.

You should take a break. I know, I know, it feels very stupid, especially if you're trying to get your plan through Congress (click the phrase 'take a break' if you want to understand the reference). But, trust me, it will help you recover.

But I'm not saying you should stop watching tv or staying on the Internet. Try watching a film or some YouTube videos, or maybe reading a book. Just something you need less commitment for. It will recharge you.
The last tip is to go to the Internet. Start searching fanarts, edits, videos, fanfictions, and many more. Change your phone wallpaper, your WhatsApp wallpaper, print a poster, do whatever you want to remember this beautiful tv series.

And, who knows, you could even find a fandom friend.

Okay, okay, there's a fourth way, but I don't recommend it at all. It is to re-watch the entire tv series right after you finish it. DON'T DO IT. It will make you feel very overwhelmed and you could even end up hating that tv series. I repeat: DON'T DO IT!

And this is all folks! Now go, my friends, go and elaborate your emotions!
