Alexa & Katie

Hello nerdy and non-nerdy friends! Today I'll give you 5 reasons to watch "Alexa & Katie" a cool tv series you can find on Netflix! It has four seasons of around 10 episodes each. The show talks about Alexa and Katie; two best friends who live next to each other and start high school. Alexa has cancer and Katie helps her. Don't worry though, it's not a sad show.

Now let's get onto the reasons!

As I was saying, this is not a sad show. Although it deals with a serious topic such as cancer and it has many heart-felt moments, it still manages to be funny and cute.

This combination of fun and feels reminds me a lot of the old (but not super old) Disney Channel shows; such as "Jessie", "Liv & Maddie", "Good luck Charlie"... so if you're missing them, but you know you shouldn't watch them a millionth time, well, "Alexa & Katie" is the tv series for you.

Alexa's dad is one of the purest souls in this universe. He's so wholesome and funny, and just so cute.

This series doesn't end on a terrible cliff-hanger and it hasn't been cancelled before its natural ending. It's part of my list of the tv series that FINISH, which you can find clicking here.

Something "Alexa & Katie" has in common with the old Disney channel shows is having short episodes. And with short I mean between 20-30 minutes. In my opinion that's the best length for tv series episodes, because they allow you to have a good time, but you don't need an entire hour to watch just one episode.

So this everything folks! I hope I convinced you to watch this wholesome tv series, I promise you it's gonna be worth it!
