Hey everyone! I know I should shut up about this since I've been keep talking about it for a while now, but the 25th of April we finally got to see the Oscars!!!

I couldn't be more excited. For once I've managed to watch all the movies of the main categories and I got to wake up at 3 am to watch the ceremony live. So, without further adee, here are the winners (of the most important categories).
Best supporting actor: Daniel Kaluuya. Couldn't agree more. In Judas and the Black Messiah he did such a wonderful job interpreting Fred Hampton, the leader of the Black Panther movement in Chicago in the 60's.

Best supporting actress: Yoon Yeo-jeong. AAAAAAAA I hoped with all my heart that she could win. This Korean actress has such a talent. In Minari she plays a cool Korean grandma who travels to America to help her family out. She is the fist Korean to win an award at the Oscars and only the second Asian woman to win in this category.

Best actor: Anthony Hopkins. I think that being 83 and winning a second Oscar is something only a genius could achieve. In The Father he plays a man with Alzheimer's in a magistral way!

Best actress: Frances McDormand. Amazing performance of a nomad woman who tries to reinvent herself. She went to the oscars with no fancy dress, makeup, nor stylish hair in order to break once again all the Hollywood rules which affect especially women.

Best picture and best director: Chloé Zhao. A WOMAN I repeat a woman has won in these two categories. Moreover a NON-WHITE woman. It was about time. She directed in the most poetic way possible the film Nomaland.

Even if I don't agree with all the awards I must say: this year something has really changed. Not just because of the films that won but for the film which were presented. Finally the Oscars moved towards a more inclusive world and I could be happier about it.
