Hello nerdy friends!

I'm Sofia and today I'll try to convince you to read the beautiful books of "Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard" written by none other than Rick Riordan, the same author that wrote "Percy Jackson and the Gods of Olympus".

This series is actually a trilogy and I'm about to manipulate you and make you read it ;). (Just kidding, you can choose not to read these books, but, let me tell you, you're missing out).

So, why should you read "Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard"?

1-TO HAVE A NEW PROTAGONIST, WHO DEFINETLY ISN'T PERCY JACKSON

(He hates blue, so...)

But, apart from kidding, Magnus is a very cool guy, he's sarcastic and his character development is really *chef's kiss*.

2-TO LEARN ABOUT NORDIC MYTHOLOGY

As you probably will know by now, I'm a Ravenclaw and I really love learning. Rick Riordan flawlessly incorporates mythology into his books and helps you learn it! That's something I love, since I just really like learning new things.

3-IF YOU LOVED THE "THOR" MOVIES

Okay, well, if you liked/loved the "Thor" movies maybe you shouldn't go into the Magnus Chase books without an open mind. A really open mind.

Let's just say that the gods protagonists of those movies are veeery different from the ones you'll find in the books. But, hey, if you've seen the movies that means you already know a little bit about Nordic mythology and you won't be completely unprepared!

(Just keep an open mind, okay?)

4-IF YOU WANT TO SEE WHAT THE AFTERLIFE MIGHT LOOK LIKE

Okay, okay, let's put religion aside for a moment. Even if you don't believe in the Nordic gods, it can be fun to see a type of afterlife.

We don't really know how it's gonna be, but, not gonna lie, I wouldn't complain if it turned out to be a super cool hotel.

5-THE CHARACTERS (ALL OF THEM!)

I don't say this often, but I love ALL of the characters in these books (with very few exceptions, but you'll understand me once you read them). So, if you want to get to know some very cool characters, you know where to find them.

So there you have it friends! I hope I convinced you to start reading "Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard"!

See you next time, byeee.
