Y'all probably already know that this week is very important for us Italians. It is, in fact, Sanremo's week; which is the festival of the Italian song.
But why is Sanremo so important?
Well, first of all, it's all about culture and tradition. It's beautiful seeing my country coming together to organize this festival every year. We have some amazing artists and we love showcasing them. Even in these troubled times, we still found a way to celebrate this big occasion (respecting the covid norms, of course!).
Also, the singer who wins Sanremo is going to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest, which is an international musical festival and is inspired by Sanremo!
