My emergency bag

Hi, I'm Sofia and I'm a very organized person. I'm also an aspiring spy and as such I must always be prepared for everything. Something I'm trying to stay prepared for is an emergency, like having to escape because somebody is trying to catch me.

You know, those moments in the movies when you see the protagonist (who is also a spy or a secret agent) escaping, taking a backpack from a hiding place in their house, a backpack where they keep all the necessary things to survive away from home, while being pursued by criminals who want to murder them. How fun!

That's exactly what I want to do with my emergency bag, something I can dramatically grab a split-second before running away from my house, which will explode while I face away. Okay, I hope it will never happen, because it's very dangerous and scary. But it's also so cool!

Anyway, if you want to have an emergency bag yourself, I'm going to tell you what I keep in mine, so I can give you some ideas.

I have a spare mask, a pair of clean panties (which I'm not going to show you cause, you know, privacy), a lip smacker that doesn't exactly work, a lip balm that actually works, a normal pen, a pen with a light that I stole *ahem* borrowed from a hotel and a pair of scissors that looks like a pen.

This way I could write a coded message to a fellow spy or leave a sarcastic note in a villain's lair. The possibilities are endless!

I also have some hygiene products, like pads (which I'm not going to show), some shampoo samples in case I need to wash my hair for an undercover mission, some medicines, hair ties of various colours, some bobby pins and some coins (they used to be more but I spent them).

You know, every spy needs a bit of spare change to get some snacks at the vending machine in the airport while waiting for an international flight for a mission.

Then I have some "real" money (okay, it's not a lot, but it's difficult to save for a work as a spy while being a full-time teenager), some plasters in case I get hurt, toothpicks and safety pins in case I get promoted, but we don't have a pin to stick my badge to my uniform with.

Also some sugar I stole *ahem* borrowed from a Starbucks in Spain. I obviously was there for a mission and I definitely wasn't on vacation with my family.

Then, last but not least, I have a compact mirror, to check my makeup and if there's somebody following me and trying to murder me. You know, the usual.

And that's all folks!

Now go, my fellow aspiring spies, go and prepare your own emergency bag!
