If you haven't been living under a rock for the last two years, you'll probably know about "To All The Boys I've Loved Before", the Netflix film starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo. It was based on the first book of a trilogy written by Jenny Han.

Everybody loved this film so much that they also made the second one: "P.S.: I Still Love You". The problem with the second film is that it took so long to shoot because... they shot the third one too!
"P.S.: I Still Love You" has been out for some time and this year we're going to get the third and last film: "Always and Forever"!

The book is actually called "Always and Forever, Lara Jean", since, you know, every title was supposed to be similar to a part of a letter. For example "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" is kinda like the incipit, "P.S.: I Still Love You" is something you write after ending your letter, because you forgot something (this is a little bit clearer if you read the book, 'cause the film changed it a bit).

Finally, "Yours Forever, Lara Jean" is the signature. It is the end of the letter (and of the trilogy!). Omg! I'm so excited, but also really sad.

Feeling this way, I decided to re-read the book. So today I'll tell you a bit about what you can expect from this movie, but with no spoilers, don't worry.

Now, what we know up until now is that Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky started fake dating because the secret love letters she wrote to her crushes and never sent, well, have been sent and now these five guys know that she had crushes on them, including her sister's boyfriend (even though they broke up like two seconds ago).

So Lara Jean fake dates Peter (who was one of those guys) so she can avoid her sister's ex-boyfriend and he can make his ex-girlfriend jealous. Complicated, I know. And of course they fall in love. What did you expect?

Fast forward a little bit, they start catching feelings, they kinda break up, then they come back and start dating, then Lara Jean meets a new-old boy (one of the letters), she has a thing with him, but then she dramatically runs to Peter because he was the one all along...

And now we're here.

The third book is about the end of high school for Lara Jean and Peter. Getting into college, making plans for the future, deciding to stay together, the sadness and excitement of the last year...

Friendships, love, crazy adventures, sneaking into the local college to stay up watching the stars and talking about the future...

Ugh, I live for these things.

Also, there are a lot of Hamilton references. I really appreciated them, cause, you know, I love that musical. I had to say it. (In the book, it probably wouldn't be like that in the movie 'cause they changed some details... You'll understand only by reading the book ;)

More than everything I love the feeling of this book; the feeling of nostalgia and excitement of your last year of high school (which will be next year for me, I'm already trembling...), the plans for the future, the heart-to-heart talks late at night... I can't wait to do that.

And I can't wait to watch the film!

In the meantime I suggest you read the book, it's really beautiful.
