Good news: beavers are back!
A study of the Research Institute on Terrestrial Ecosystems of the National Council of research has demonstrated that after 500 years the European beaver has come back to some areas in northern Italy. Up until a few years ago, the European beaver was completely absent from Italy; it had become extinct because of hunting and the loss of its natural habitat. Now it's finally back!

Bad news: ospreys are in danger
One of the symbols of Corsica's fauna, the Corsican Osprey, is in grave danger. Tourists are everywhere and have invaded the nesting areas of this beautiful animal. Also, poachers are making its life very difficult, and associations and preservation institutions are springing to action. Will they save it?
