Good news: desalinization project stopped in California

In California, a project was underway that would have made it possible to transform part of the water of the Pacific Ocean into unsalted water, so that it would become drinkable. This is because California suffers from drought, but the plant that would have allowed the desalination of the water would have risked killing the marine life that inhabits the ocean, as it would have been a question of re-introducing a large amount of salt into the sea.
