The 100: what is it?
Before I begin in I would like to say that this is a fantasy and adventure series, personally I am absolutely obsessed with two of the main characters (you will meet them in the first episode if you watch The 100).
These characters are Bellamy Blake and Octavia Blake (between the two I love Bellamy but Octavia is pretty awesome too).
The 100 is an American television series created by Jason Rothenberg, loosely based on the series of novels of the same name by Kass Morgan, airing from March 19, 2014 to September 30, 2020 on The CW.
The 100: the plot and setting
The first episode of the series was broadcast on Italian TV for the first time on 1 October 2014 on the Premium Action channel, while the last episode was broadcast on 8 February 2021 on the same channel. Tthe first two seasons were broadcast, starting from 19 May 2015 in the late evening, on Italia 1, while from the third season the series was broadcast on another channel.
The story is set in 2149, 97 years after a global nuclear war in 2052 that shook planet Earth, only one space station remains of mankind, the Ark, of a complex of 12 minor space stations that were in orbit at the time of the disaster. The Ark has very strict laws to maintain order: whoever transgresses is punished with death by expulsion into the void. But now, the Ark is dying with population growth and the rapid deterioration of recycling facilities.
The 100: my personal opinion
I haven't watched the whole series yet but I like it very much. If I'm not wrong they are about 7 seasons, so yeah it could take a little bit of time to watch it all but maybe the person reading this could be a fanboy or a fangirl and watch all the seven seasons in one week.
