GOOD NEWS

Hey! We are back, as are the global climate strikes. I don't know if you heard but last week the first Global Climate Strike after the pandemic took place world wide! And we're not talking about online stuff (well, just somewhere) but actual protests happening in a lot of cities.

The good news is that the strike was a success, for example in Germany a crowd of 100,000 people gathered! The focus this time was the COP26, which is happening in Glasgow between October and November. COP26 is a meeting focused on climate between the countries of the UN, read here to know more!

BAD NEWS

Talking about COP26, here's what the countries need to agree on to really help the planet. The countries are asked to cut emissions by 2030, so we can expect them to set out their plans to reduce them. Other announcements could be: making a faster switch to electric cars, cutting down fewer trees, you can read more here!
It is going to be tough because this would need a lot of countries in different positions to agree on a lot of stuff, if you want to know more, read here!
