Tutti conoscono i Premi Oscar, i Guinnes, i Nobel e forse qualcuno anche i Premi Ignobel. Ma vi starete chiedendo, cosa sono i Premi Glaad?
I premi Glaad sono delle nominations che vengono date da più di tre decenni a quelle produzioni, album, canali, influencers che introducono in modo salutare la categoria LGBT QIA+. Infatti la definizione trovabile sul web è:
"The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community and the issues that affect their lives."
Che tradotto in italiano è:
"I GLAAD Media Awards riconoscono e onorano i media per le loro rappresentazioni corrette, accurate e inclusive della comunità lesbica, gay, bisessuale, transgender e queer (LGBTQ) e delle questioni che influenzano le loro vite."
Dunque sono premi per la solidarietà nei confronti della comunità queer. Come loro si autodefiniscono: Accelerare l'accettazione delle persone LGBTQ 🏳️🌈 (Accelerating acceptance for LGBTQ people 🏳️🌈).
Quest'anno si è svolta la 32esima edizione dei Glaad (in America) e i premi sono stati donati e moltissime produzione, alcune di queste addirittura le avevamo anche trattate qui su Radioimmaginaria!
